Eligibility
LoverLabs is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By using LoverLabs you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that doing so is legal in your jurisdiction.
What LoverLabs is
LoverLabs provides software that lets you talk to and design AI companions. Every companion is software. They are not real people, and conversations may include responses that are mistaken, inappropriate, or unhelpful. Use your judgment and never rely on a companion for medical, legal, financial, or crisis support. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or, in the US, call or text 988.
Anonymous preview chat
You can chat with Luna without an account. Preview conversations are rate-limited (including a free-message allowance and per-day ceilings) and are stored against a browser cookie so the thread survives a refresh. Clearing your cookies starts a fresh session; we can't restore an anonymous thread once its cookie is gone.
Day passes
A Day Pass grants unlimited chat with Luna for 24 hours from purchase, up to a fair-use ceiling of 200 messages per pass. The web pass ($5) is bound to the browser you bought it in; the SMS pass ($10) is bound to your phone number. Passes are personal, non-transferable, and expire automatically unused messages don't roll over. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Refunds
If a pass didn't work as described, contact us within 24 hours of purchase at support@loverlabs.io (or reply to your receipt email) and we'll make it right, usually with a full refund processed through Stripe. Passes consumed normally (messages sent and answered) are not refundable once expired.
SMS program
Texting with Luna is available by opt-in only: you submit your number, we send one confirmation text, and nothing further is sent unless you reply YES. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies with your usage. Reply STOP at any time to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We will never sell your number or use it for marketing unrelated to the conversation you opted into.
Your content
You own the characters and conversations you create. We store them so we can deliver the service and you can come back to them. Signed-in users can delete their data at any time from Settings.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use LoverLabs to create or solicit content that depicts minors, real non-consenting people, illegal activity, harassment, or instructions for self-harm or violence. You also agree not to probe, overload, or abuse the service (including its rate limits and payment flows). We may suspend access that violates these rules.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We make no warranties about availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the prior 12 months.
